Several hundred pod-shaped parts, each approximately 1 to 3 inches long and created from ink on heavy weight paper, are
attached to the ceiling in a loose net-like structure. Light transitions from incandescent to ultraviolet in
random cycles (see images 1, 2 and 3).
As the light cycles, the pattern on the ceiling reverses from positive to negative (see images below).
The environment created by this installation links the perception of space and depth with the capacity light has to alter
our pattern seeking and recognition abilities.
